Producer, writer, composer and artistic director Miguel Antelo was born in Madrid and has been involved in the entertainment industry since a very young age. He is a major household name in Spain due to his works in films, television and theatrical productions. After workings as a Disney Club presenter in his youth, he developed his skills in musical theatre in shows like Mamma Mia or Peter Pan, playing the title role in the West End.

His credits as musical theatre writer and adapter include “Avenue Q”, “The Sound of Music”, “Shrek” and “Priscilla, Queen of the desert”, where he also worked as artistic resident director in Madrid and artistic supervisor on Tour. He’s also written, produced and directed with his own production company stage family musicals like “Once Upon a time”, “Don Pepito” and “Hansel and Gretel”, creating his own trademark in theatre entertainment for the whole family.

 

He currently works as a music director and dubbing director in films and TV shows- His latest works include Disney’s Live action version of “The little Mermaid”, Lyle Lyle Crocodile, Puss in Boots 2, Super Mario Bros, Under the Boardwalk, Mean Girls and a large etc. He is also the Spanish voice of memorable characters like Olaf (Frozen), Elmo (Sesame Street) and Spyro the dragon.
